Ashlee is a member of the "Ladies Who Lead" initiative of The Queen’s Foundation and serves on the Triad Regional Advisory Committee. Ashlee is passionate about TQF because she believes in empowering young girls to be their best not only for themselves but to serve and also empower others. She is grateful to be a part of a society of women that is totally affirming and makes up of meaningful connections. Finally, Ashlee gets to be able to do what she is passionate about and lend her skills, talents and treasure to TQF. She decided to get involved with TQF because Ashlee always had a passion for youth. Ashlee feels there are many barriers and pressures that young girls face, and always sought to be a positive image and motivation for them. She believes that Nadia, founder of The Queen's Foundation always has had a natural ability to bring out the best from anyone she's around. Because of this Ashlee was sure that Nadia's gift would transcend to this capacity and beyond and wanted to help her college best friend in anyway that she could.

Before joining the ladies who lead initiative, Ashlee received her B.A. in Communications Studies with minors in Political Science and African American Studies from the University of North Carolina Greensboro, and a M.P.S. in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University. Outside of TQF, Ashlee is the Director of Marketing and Development, The Servant Center Inc. She loves community and leveraging all the diversity and assets in the community to foster lasting change and promote human flourishing. Ashlee is Michael Jackson’s biggest fan in North Carolina.
