Ashley is a member of the ladies who lead initiative for The Queen’s Foundation. She serves on the Triad Regional Advisory Committee. Ashley is passionate about TQF because she loves that it specifically addresses a broad problem in today's world - young girls in at-risk environments are not "breaking the cycle," and TQF corrects that by providing these young ladies with a real-life mentor that acts as a catalyst and support system for the girl to succeed and continue on to college. She decided to get involved with TQF because Ashley has a friend who would have greatly benefited from TQF as a child. Hearing her story and how much harder she had to work to get where she is now due to her background, motivates Ashley to "be the change" for other girls who are struggling against similar challenges.

Before joining the ladies who lead initiative, Ashley received her B.A. in Sociology from Wake Forest University. Outside of TQF, Ashley is the Administrative Assistant at Ward Black Law. She spent the past summer learning to cook in Italy, and Ashley is also in a leadership role with another nonprofit organization, Restoration Place Counseling. It aims to provide counseling services at a free or reduced rate to women in need.
